A very warm welcome by Catherine, who offered us a pot of tea with delicious home bakes. Delicious.
We slept very well after an evening in Multyfarnham, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was super and the best rashers we've had in years. The black and white pudding you have to see for yourselves....perfect.

There was a sense of security. I’m originally from London, so staying somewhere in the woods was a scary thought, but the lodge was a relaxing experience to say the least.
There was breakfast , utilities and the host was there for anything we needed. You can also cook or store food in the fridge which was handy.
Shower pressure was great

Very comfortable, excellent set up. I was passing through the area but it would make an excellent location to spend a few days exploring the area.
The homemade blackcurrant jam was an unexpected treat that brought back childhood memories.

From the moment we arrived when Maria greeted us outside after parking our car, we had great experience at the Streete Retreat. Her and Joe are a great couple who are the epitome of old fashioned Irish hospitality. Lovely room, super breakfast (well done Joe). Very peaceful and tranquil house in a very quiet village.
Will be back.

We loved our stay at the little cottage. It had everything we needed and was extremely cozy and relaxing to stay in. We really appreciated the unexpected extras such as bread and lots of other little things to make us feel at home. The bed was really comfortable and the facilities were great. The little town of Multyfarnham couldn't have been cuter. It was ideal for our dog too. Would recommend this stop to anyone.
The location was Fabolous. Being greeted in person was nice. Communication prior to arrival was very informative. The cottage great for touring and plenty to see locally.
Beautiful property in a lovely location. Katherine was an absolute pleasure to deal with and so welcoming from start to finish. Felt like a home away from home
