The ferry is quite close, I took it to get to The Lodge from Cobh, €10. The renovations on this property are top of the line. The property is gated, you can call when you get there to be let in, and there is a kind of keyfob on with your room keys. I felt more like a queen there than I do in my fancy hotel tonight!

This Bed and Breakfast is a real gem in Ireland. Our hosts Joe and Máire are absolutely lovely people, easy to talk with, and dedicated to providing great service. The property itself is gorgeous, spacious, well located to the town core of Cobh, and easy to get over to the ferry or train. Our room was luxurious, comfortable, and felt like a reprieve from the damp and cramped accommodations more accustomed to in Ireland. It was the perfect way to cap off our Ireland adventure. You should book multiple nights here if you're able to. It will be the best accommodations on your trip.
