I absolutely loved my stay at Ballea Castle. There is something so uniquely special there. Louise is the most wonderful host and we instantly felt so welcome. The animals roaming everywhere was so magical and the whole experience just felt so relaxed. The room itself was exceptional, I had the best sleep of the year there. I can't wait to revisit.

The Giles Norman Gallery & Townhouse GREATLY exceeded any expectations I ever had. Hands down one of the nicest places I've ever stayed, so much so that when I walked in I thought we were in the wrong place. Every single detail was thought of and everything was amazing. And on top of it all, it smelled divine. I am not one for scents, but this place did it perfectly. I truly can't express just how much we loved staying here.

We were welcomed by Dennis who greeted us warmly,offered us tea/coffee and suggested places to visit and recommended local pubs and restaurants.Our room was spotlessly clean,spacious,comfortable and quiet.At breakfast we met Susan who was a great host,chatted to us and we really enjoyed her porridge with granola and dried fruits,homemade scones and delicious honemade brown bread.We were made to feel special and very much at home by our delightful hosts and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The accommodation is located in a beautiful house with a historical background. The property is very large and well maintained with beautiful plants and flowers. Everything was very clean, there was a delicious freshly prepared breakfast every morning.
If you want to stay in a lovely house in a quiet country location with two of the loveliest hosts Chris and Claire then this is the place for you. This location was ideal for us a we wanted to stay somewhere quiet between Cork City and Kinsale. We were warmly greeted and given tea, biscuits and cake on arrival with the same the following afternoon. We had some long chats with Chris and Clare and felt at home here. For info we stayed in one of the first floor bedrooms which was large and comfortable.
