What a little gem of a house. Really well appointed, clean, spacious and great location. Fresh eggs from the farm and milk in the fridge on arrival. Will definitely be back. Absolutely ideal for a family. Didn't get to meet the host but Sue was really responsive to requests and extremely accommodating. Highly recommend a stay here.

Helen surprised us with a lovely treat and drinks when we arrived and made us feel right at home! We had a large room with comfortable beds and plenty of parking space both on the street and their private terrain. Helen and her husband went out of their way to give us pointers on places to visit, pleasant hikes in the surrounding area and suggestions for our next adventure. I've seen quite a few hotels/B&B's but this one stands out as a place which not only facilitates your holiday but becomes part of it.. Many thanks and we'll be coming back for sure! Leaba on the Lake was the perfect place for our stay in Killaloe. Check in was easy, Ann is a helpful and responsive host, and her apartment is in an ideal location for exploring the town and beyond. We loved the added thoughtful touches of fresh soda bread when we arrived, as well as coffee, milk, butter, and homemade jam. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed is very comfortable, so we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We were given an upgraded corner room with great views. Room was very comfortable with good toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good...many choices. Covid rules were applied well. Access to largish warm swimming pool was a great benefit. Parking was easy onsite.
