Everything about Templemacateer was a pleasure. Bernie and Declan were the loveliest of hosts. The weather was bad and when we got in they had a big fire waiting for us with tea and cakes. A beautiful evening on a miserable night. The breakfast was just as good with fresh fruit salad, cereals and a choice of breakfasts. The house was absolutely spotless and the beds so comfortable with lovely linen. I really can't say enough about this beautiful place and I will definitely try to stay there again when I amin moate

Everything was excellent. The host was extremely generous and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to ensure a pleasant, welcoming stay. The facilities were spotless, comfortable, attractive and spacious. The breakfast was lovely, and the scones were an enjoyable treat. We would recommend this to anyone visiting the area. If we did come back to Ireland this would be a must return destination. The pub over the road was also marvellous.

Mary is a lovely host! She offered immidiate help, when we told her that we were driving to the Tullamore destillary for a tasting. She said we shouldn't drive ourselves! How right she was! So she was so very nice to drive us there and even picked us up there! Wonderful! Thank you so much, Mary!

The breakfast was lovely & plenty of choice on the menu.Very warm welcome on arrival& during our stay. Good location as very close to motorway for easy access to Dublin&Galway.
I got a very friendly welcome with the offer of a drink, although there were a bottle of water and tea making facilities in the room.
The room and separate private bathroom were very clean. The breakfast offer (to choose of ahead!) is huge and I got an extra serving of excellent pancakes!
Although I had some problems with the internet I enjoyed my stay in this friendly and nice place very much. Thank you!
It was a great location,the whole place was spotlessly clean all the way through even cleaner than some of the hotels I have stayed in.The host was real friendly & new her job to perfection accommodating your every need if you had one,the breakfast was second to none & the water was hot all the time for the shower.
Bernie was an amazing host and very accommodating, the whole place was clean and tidy, the beds are really comfy, had no problems knocking the Zs out, Bernie also makes a cracking brew and breakfast, the location was ideal for us, not too far from family, and the best price around that area, you can't go wrong, all the locals are friendly aswell.
