The warm welcome when we arrived. The house is clean, bright and just perfect.
The welcome book, the basket of snacks, the milk in the fridge, and the apple pie.
Everything was perfect and easy to find. It was lovely to able to put your cases in the rooms and have a drink and take in your surroundings.

We booked this property quite late on the evening of our stay and arrived just before midnight after a long day's travelling.
All our tiredness vanished on entering the property. It was absolutely enchanting and so well-presented, with many interesting antique pieces. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable- the cosiness of a cottage with modern facilities.
We met our host Ann Marie the following morning. She was so lovely and gave us the history and a tour of the other cottages on the site. We didn't meet her husband, whose woodworking talent was evident in the properties. They have created a very special experience for their guests.
We will definitely return for a longer visit in the near future and have no hesitation in recommending this property to family and friends.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Everything was absolutely fabulous! Martina is a lovely host, the room was spotlessly clean and well equipped and we had a lovely cooked breakfast served in the morning. I look forward to staying at 7 Oaks again on my next visit to Mayo.
The host martina was very welcoming and very helpful, It was quiet and beautifully decorated, the room was very spacious and very clean, the bed was most comfortable with the best nights sleep, we had a beautiful cooked breakfast in the morning, would love to come back
It was a very peaceful and quiet location, convenient to the town on foot with a secure space for parking the car. The internal decor was done to a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and the building seemed to be very well insulated as I was able to use the room during the afternoon and in the evening to read and watch the TV etc. The ensuite facility was on a par with any 5 star hotel. The breakfast was excellent. With the front door key, I was able to come and go as I liked.
The food left for breakfast was a nice gesture because we didn't expect breakfast. Location was good for what we wanted to do. The accommodation was very clean.
The host was amazing.. we checked in late evening with our family.. the host showed us around our place off stay.. it was spotless and clean it was well presented.. great location to stay not far from Galway
Sligo and knock shrine. . The host even left us cereals fruits yogurts tea coffee and even baked us fresh crossiants etc for the morning.. highly recommend to anyone thinking of going up that way..kids loved their own room. Ext to us and had even good WiFi which was great ...will stay again soon.. thank you Martina!!! See you again!!!
The location is perfect for our visit in Knock Shrine, very clean and the breakfast is a plus, parking is a bonus as well, very accommodating host, will stay again👍
