Excellent host: Jimmy was very kind and interested in ensuring travellers were informed. I felt he was genuinely interested in getting to know his guests. Breakfast was excellent. The only issue was locating the site from the Slea Head route (easy to locate from Dingle) but a kindly neighbour drove ahead of us to lead us to the place when we asked directions! It was great to be in the countryside but close enough to Dingle to drive over for supper.

The quietest night we have had on our entire trip! Situated right out in the country with a wonderful view over the coastline, and with an excellent breakfast. A truly enormous bedroom (you could almost sleep in the walk-in cupboard!) and a giant TV in the guest lounge. One of the nicest B&Bs we have had in Ireland.

Very nice accommodation, great meals in the pub and very nice and kind owners / personnel. My friend had a BDay on the day of our stay at Bothar Pub, I asked for a cake to be delivered and everything was there, even with Birthday singing, it was amazing. Thank you again, we had a great time:-)

The setting was unbelievable, great for families due to the beach right on the bay, and the pub on site. The shared kitchen was also a huge plus for us, as we saved a bunch of money not having to dine out for every meal, and we could always prepare the food we needed for our child with severe food allergies. Overall, it was a wonderful homebase for enjoying the beautiful Dingle Peninsula.
