The location of this BnB was amazing. Very rural location, you are surrounded by fields. Eleanor made the most of this with a beautiful picture window on landing, with sofa facing it.
Even though location was quite and in a rural location, we were only about 7km from Cahr.

Barnahown exceeded our expectations. The views surrounding the house were stunning. The rooms were gorgeous and extremely clean. The beds were so comfy and the room was quiet making for a great sleep.
We made use of the hot tub twice, where we got to enjoy the scenery and mountain views. Even the breakfast was delicious. We got to enjoy locally sourced apple juice, beer and chocolates during our stay. Over all, Ciara was a wonderful host, we felt she had really thought of everything. She even went out of her way to find us some high vis jackets so that we could walk safely to and from the nearby town. We also got lots of great recommendations for local hikes and walks.

Everything! Our room was lovely, comfortable and spotless. The breakfast options are fantastic and the hospitality of Miriam so lovely. Charming place.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The location is superb, with the most gorgeous views. Parking is generous and there is an unloading area by the front door.
Reception was efficiently friendly.
The large room, which looked out onto woodland from both windows, was beautifully quiet and restful. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the water hot.
Dinner in the bar was very good (I had a salad) and the atmosphere convivial.
Based on a wonderful scenic location a bit dated with very pleasant house with pledant not over the top staff and wonderful food, very clean and I would happily stay there again and highly recommend it to everyone
Fairly priced and I could not find any fault with this lovely comfortable house
Peaceful wooded valley location with superb views over the Galtee mountains. Ideal base for walkers or equally as a wedding venue. Pleasant helpful staff who even sorted a room complaint without fuss or issue. Good evening bar/ restaurant and food and tasty self service breakfast. Liked the organic tea and coffee in the room. We were fortunate to have rooms with open aspect views so could benefit the light and views.
friendly staff very clean loved the location and fabulous food
