This place is a gem! It was the 1st accommodation of our 4 month long trip and it started it perfectly. We loved our balcony/outdoor shower, the views from our room, the perfect service. This place is just amazing! The only thing is that you have to be mobile and plan your outings so you don’t have to go up and down the steep stairs too many times per day but we like to keep ourselves busy and walking all day so it was perfect for us. Just gotta keep that in mind if you are a little out of shape or just prefer to have everything within arms reach!

The villa was breathtaking, spacious and intimate. The beach was something else. Multiple inbuilt power point plugs, we didn’t need to use adaptors at all. The hot water automatic dispenser was really thoughtful. Comfy pillows and beds. Landlord was helpful with our requests. He recommended a local driver/ guide called Pak Suman, who made our trip even more memorable, took us around Ubud, Kuta and even managed to reserve us hot tickets for the sold out 6pm Kecak Dance show. As my teenage children said, best thing about this trip was the villa and Pak Suman. The Cashew Tree Cafe ( as recommended in Lonely Planet) and Lakra Spa with soothing massages were only 3 mins walk away. We were sad to leave.
