Super clean hostel with brilliant breakfast and great staff.
This place is so clean, staff seem to constantly be cleaning common areas. Beds are very comfy with super thick mattress and in 4 bed dorm have private curtains on each bed, private electric socket and lamp.
Beautiful gardens and really good breakfast included.
Location is also great with many things in walking distance to the hostel.

This hostel is awesome! There wasn't anything they hadn't thought of and catered for and it features a super-equipped dream kitchen! It's beautiful and the view from the roof terrace was one of my favourite views in Antigua. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, I met several other guests who had previously stayed and returned to the hostel when they came back to Antigua which absolutely speaks for how great this hostel is. There's privacy in the room due to curtains and all the shared areas are comfortable and clean. This is not a party hostel! It's also in a good location to explore Antique, everything is reachable by foot. I would 100% stay here again and can highly recommend Barbara's Boutique Hostel!
The hotel is located just 200 meters from the Central Park of Antigua, it is a charming house from the colonial period with all the details of the time and which was converted into a hotel.

The hotel is very central, walking distance to Calle del Arco and lots of ammenities and possibilities to eat, museums etc.
The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the sound of the fountains, the water, there is free water and jamaica to drink in the afternoons there is tea. Often is about the little things and I think this hotel is on spot on this! The beds were very comfortable, the rooms are beautifully decorated. Breathtaking scenery from the terrace. Nothing to complain about these hotel. The breakfast was also delicious. I miss the müsli with pepitoria they serve with the fruits and yoghurt.

Everything was perfect, hands down one of my favorite hotels ever. While it might not have all the amenities other hotels offer, the location and the atmosphere more than make up for it. The rooms are very spacious and have a cozy feel to them. Our bathroom even had a ceramic tub!
