Quiet and luxurious resort. Although high season it felt spacious and quiet. We were upgraded to a villa which was exceptionally beautiful and comfortable. Took us some time to find our way around but buggy cars are always available. Customer service is of the highest quality. In contrast to previous reviews, food on the half board option was very good and varied. The private pool was the jewel in the crown and we enjoyed it day and night. Used our rental car to tour around and had great shopping in Agios Nikolaos and fun canyoning in Sarakinas gorge. I found the eastern part and coast of Crete much more to my liking. Definitely would come back and stay longer

Our experience with Elounda was wonderful in every respect.
Located in Elounda, 400 metres from Plaka Beach, Cayo Exclusive Resort & Spa provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a shared lounge.
Just 300 metres from the beach, Olive Grove Apartments is located in the charming Elounda Village. It features an outdoor swimming pool and self-catered apartments with mountain views.

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Location is perfect, near Plaka Beach and Aios. Lots of rooms and different spaces for a large family. Great pool and garden area. Surrouned by nature, located in a very small traditional village. We really loved the villa. Was perfect for the kids and us. Also great value for money.
