I booked with very short notice but it wasn't a problem as there is a lady and gentleman living upstairs who were able to let me in. I had a ground floor studio apartment which was very clean and comfortable, with a very modern bathroom and kitchen. There was space on a verandah to sit outside. There are two other apartments in the building. The building is quite close to a main road tho set back with plenty of parking in front. The road wasn't very busy so noise wasn't an issue. The owners (owner's parents?) were lovely - they didn't speak English and my Greek is very limited but we managed with sign language and a lot of nodding!

The location is excellent, offering a relaxing view to the valley. It's close to Acheron River and there are some amazing beaches in the area.
The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The room is big and clean. The pool is a nice extra, although we didn't get to use it. Excellent value for money ratio.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Maria was a very helpful and polite host. She gave us plenty of info and treated us to freshly cut peaches from her orchard. The pool was great and the bar had ice cold beers!!! Excellent location for the nearby Acherontas springs and despite Parga being 40 min drive away in rural roads we visited twice in 4 days.
