Great location right by the beach (very rare in Chios Island). We had an extended stay and really enjoyed it - the breakfast buffet was very good with varied food, and the service was exceptional. John and Irene looked after us so well!. Stone residence is an old village house in a peaceful village with a shop, some cafes and the most amazing views! It's been beautifully and tastefully renovated with high quality furnishings including a very well stocked kitchen and a superb modern washing machine. The bathroom is great with a good pressure shower with lots of very hot water. The bed is super comfy with nice linens. Irene made sure we had a good stock of food, with bread, eggs, snacks, milk, juice etc for breakfasts and also kindly brought us some home baking. The parking space next door is under a shade which is fantastic. John also speaks fluent English which made communication very easy. We loved staying here and it made a great base for exploring the island of Chios which we also absolutely loved. A perfect stay!
