I searched a lot before choosing this hotel in Crete for our vacation and I think I made the best choice. Our stay was amazing and I want to thank Marilena and Ioannis for their hospitality. The breakfast prepared by Ioannis was very tasty with many good dishes, especially his omelet with two (three?) eggs.

Very modern, very clean. Housekeeping was good. Location to beach and town was also good. Air conditioning was very effective and the accommodation was in a quiet location. Two supermarkets were at the end of the street within 25 metres walk. Many restaurants were within a 10 minute walk downhill (steep climb upon return), same for the beach. The bedroom was a good size with a large bed. There is a Nespresso coffee machine, a few pods would have been good as a complimentary starter.
Paris the owner/Manager was very helpful and accommodating with lots of local information that he is willing to share.

The property is situated on a hill with a stunning view of the sea and the mountains, conceived as a small village with several houses made of stone and a central courtyard with a swimming pool. The apartment we occupied was nice and clean with all the needed utensils to cook. The host was very nice in guiding us to the next village to buy groceries, and in indicating a very good fish restaurant on the beach (Taverna Aristodimos). Festos palace is 15 minutes away (11 Km) and that was the principal reason we made the trip (it is better to go in the afternoon, but not to late, in lack of visitors they close earlier). A few kilometers away is the Kalamaki beach, by strong winds impossible to swim because there are some stones and you can get hurt.
The stone-built Efrosini country villa-Anesis family is located in Kamilari. The air-conditioned accommodation is 2.3 km from Phaistos and 3 km from Komos, as well as 65 km from Heraklio Town.

Absolutely perfect stay! Maria, the host, is such an amazing and kind woman. Room was nice and cozy. Kitchen is small, but it has everything you need. Bathroom is freshly renovated with awesome marble like tiles. Bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. Location could not be better. 20 steps to the beach, and 30m to the awesome bakery and supermarket.
