We enjoyed staying in our large upstairs room with balcony and kitchenette. We had long views to the mountains. Parking was very easy (not typical for Molyvos). Our host Evi was very personable and gave us helpful tips for exploring the town and surrounding areas. We enjoyed our chats with Evi. Evi’s stone house is on the edge of town (on the road to castle, with parking right outside the house) but we enjoyed walking through the hilly village (a maze of cobblestoned lanes) to get to the harbour and local swimming beach. We enjoyed a night of local Greek music at the Castle on a Saturday night. For those without a balcony there is a charming garden. Two supermarkets close by for breakfast supplies We would recommend to friends.
Located in Mithymna, a few steps from Tsipouria Beach, Hotel Angels provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

It is a very clean, convenient and stylish hotel with a beautiful view. The food and cocktails are excellent. We also liked the pool and the sea. You can eat very good food and drink in the kitchen next to pool. We would like to thank Lisa for her great cocktails and smiling face, Gerardo the Italian Chef for his wonderful and fresh handmade croissants, breads, pizza and all his delicious recipes, Jolanda for her kindness and helpfulness and the whole team. We plan to vacation again next year.

We spent a lovely week here and everything was perfect. The hospitality and generosity shown to us from Dimitra, our host, was genuine, warm and exceptional. Of the many places we have stayed on the Greek islands, this was certainly one of the best, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Our apartment was modern, well-designed and very comfortable. It's located in a lovely part of Petra village, far enough away from the summer crowds, but a few minutes walk to everything. There's a lovely bakery a few steps away, and a mini mart just along the road for easy access to provisions. Although our apartment was on the ground floor, there's a delightful shared courtyard garden, and Dimitra was happy for some other family members to come and visit us whenever they chose to. Efharisto Dimitra, we hope to see you again. Paul and Ruth.

I read many reviews regarding Alex and his wife Sonila's hospitality as well as their 'legendary' breakfast. To be honest, those reviews were indeed SPOT ON! Alex, Sonila and their children are lovely people, very friendly, warm, kind and sincere. They are also very hardworking, whenever we needed something they were there and immediately helped us.
The breakfast is really legendary. Turkish breakfasts are very 'extensive' so you can easily believe me when I say there is a LOT to eat and drink and if you like something, Alex never hesitates to bring you another plate of it. He was kind to even cook me some extra bacon when he learned that I liked it very much! There is also traditional Turkish style tea, as well as quality Italian espresso and fresh orange juice included.
Our room was very spacious, the double bed, pillows and mattress were all VERY comfortable. The room was newly renovated, kitchen utensils were more than enough and there was even a small locker for your valuables (although we didn't use it) There was always good hot water for showers and the Internet was really strong (a rarity for Lesvos)
We had a problem with the mosquito nets but Alex's lovely wife Sonila was very kind to provide us a mosquito repellent device and we plugged it in and had mosquito-free sleeps with the balcony wide open.
There is a small market on the ground floor of the building so you can easily get all your basic needs at the facility.
There is a lot of parking space for your car, and Alex is very helpful in that regard also.
The location of the facility is also great. It takes between 5-10 minutes to the Anaxos beach depending on your pace, and it is actually a LOVELY walk among the gardens, flowers, trees etc. Instead of walking, it is also possible to drive your car to the Anaxos beach (approximately 2 minutes) and you can always find free parking spaces there.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
