As close to perfect as a holiday home can get. Beautiful position, on a hill, giving you a breathtaking view of the sea whilst also being nice and quiet. A 10 minute drive away from half a dozen of beautiful sandy beaches. The view can be enjoyed from the comfort of the huge terrace that for us was the perfect hangout spot. There is always a spot where there is some natural shade so it's a perfect place to sit during the morning or at the evening. It features beautiful floating egg chairs, perfect to seat in while reading a book or just to enjoy the sunset. This terrace is the centerpiece of the whole place but not the only great thing. The inside is beautiful and modern and the attention to detail is high. There wasn't a single thing that was missing and there were even gadgets that you would have never thought of, but were highly useful. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The place was immaculate. The internet was plenty fast for everyone and the connection was strong all around the apartment. On top of all of that, the hosts were some of the nicest people we've met, extremely welcoming and helpful with anything we asked.

Hotel Penelope is a family-run hotel, located on the south-east coast of Corfu, in the small fishing village of Boukari, only 60 meters away from the sea. Corfu Town is 23 km away and Achilleion Palace is at 12 km.

The hotel fully corresponds to the description. Nothing extra. Very conveniently located. The beach with sunbeds is 50 meters from the hotel. There are three taverns to choose from within walking distance. The owners of the hotel have their own excellent tavern. If you book a table for yourself, you will be taken to the tavern free of charge and after dinner will be brought back to the hotel (600 m). It looks ridiculous, but there are no sidewalks in this location, and if you decide to walk to the tavern, you will have to walk along the carriageway. Therefore, I give an excellent rating for the service of the hotel !!!

The pictures don't do the place justice! This is a lovely apartment with gorgeous ocean views and luxurious amenities (It had everything we needed for our stay and more). We'd booked the studio apt but Athina gave us a free upgrade to the one bed apartment which was very kind of her. The best part of the stay was that Athina brought us delicious home cooked Corfiot food. It truly felt like home away from home (if home is luxurious sea view apartment!). I stayed at a 4 star resort after my stay with Athina, and this stay beat that by a longshot! I appreciate Athina for making our stay in Corfu special!
