Ágios Dimítrios (Tæt på Kokkinopilós)

Breakfast was great, freshly made and really delicious. The food in the restaurant in general was amazing. We stayed few days and every day a local specialty was prepared for us. These types of meals take hours to be prepared and we were spoiled to have the chance to try them. All the food is fresh and local. For the drinks there is variety of local wines as well as liqueurs that the owners have prepared themselves and you can try all of them. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is great, rooms are big, very comfortable and clean (cleaning is done daily). We were big group but we were taken great care of and spoiled all the time. We felt like home and didn't want to leave. I would definitely love to return again. Thank you for your patience with us and that you made out stay amazing.

Traditional country house at the foot of Mt Olympus. Has a/c and a wood burning fireplace. Property is at an elevation of 583 meters. The host was kind enough to light the fireplace for me. Ideal location to explore the back side of Mt Olympus. Road from the village center goes up the mountain (and turns into a dirt road).
