We can't recommend the Niriedes Hotel highly enough. A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location very close to the Platis Gialos beach. Several good restaurants right by the beach. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations; lovely rooms, very helpful and friendly owners, plentiful breakfast, superb views over the beach and the bay. Nice swimming pool. We loved Sifnos which is a bit of an undiscovered gem. If you want a quieter Greek island with nice beaches, places to visit and a high quality family run hotel then Sifnos and the Niriedes Hotel are perfect.

An amazing private studio close to the beach yet off the road with a courtyard great for evening drinks and reading. It felt really homely with the homemade cakes, biscuits and also the added bonus of some tsipouro. Maria was lovely and took care of us very well.

The Location was great as was the spacious room. The beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped. Ada at reception was very helpful in providing us with lots of suggestions of what to do on the island and where to eat. She was always there to greet us with a smile. Restaurants are close by as is the bus stop which is almost directly outside the hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Whilst it is not five star it is excellent value. Sarah at the Sifnos travel office was also very helpful. I would stay here again.

Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Amazing location near the quiet beach and church. But we could also walk to Faros or 5 min to rocky beach for snorkelling or 10 min to sandy beach and tavernas.
It was lovely to have drinks and relaxation by the pool before we would go out for the day/evening.
We hired a car which made it so easy to get around the whole island.
The room was very spacious for a family of four especially having two toilets. And ample storage room for our luggage.
Staff were wonderful and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast and coffees to order.
What a fantastic location !! 2 minutes walk to a lovely quiet beach and a fantastic taverna right on the waters edge. The 2 little houses are gorgeous and have a beautiful shared garden with BBQ and big table. Really special place x
I knew the location was distant from other places, but that was one of the reasons I booked Selana. Communication apart from a slight hiccup with Irene was spot on. The room was compact but had an amazing shower and the air con was spot on and the view from the balcony was.fabulous. I must praise Panos for his outstanding customer service. There was a nice.cliff walk to Faros and we ate at a fantastic fish restaurant.
The house is amazing and the view is breathtaking!
We had a great time with family in this very quiet place. All rooms have sea view. Kitchen is fully equiped. There is a private path to reach the beach (even if the access can be difficult for elder people). The location is perfect to go to beaches and restaurants (a car is needed). The host Yiannis was very welcoming and helpful. It's rare to say that but real was much much better that pictures could show. We highly recommend this place.
