Wow, staying here is a unique experience. It’s easily the best place to stay on the island. The hospitality from hosts Maria and her sons is next level. You feel like you’re staying in someone’s home, and after a while, as if it’s your home too. It’s only a literal stone’s throw away from the main port beach but also down the rocky stairs towards the secret rocky swimming hole with see through to the bottom crystal waters, swimming there is the most peaceful, calming and surreal experience. The traditional rooms have stunning balcony vistas from the port. From this location you can easily reach all the amenities, shops and sites, and you’ll quickly get to know the locals. It’s a comfortable, wonderful, enriching experience and there’s a reason my neighbours come every year. An absolute delight!!!!! Would love to return again soon!!!

The house was built on a hill so the view was amazing. There was a great garden were you could sit and enjoy the tranquility and the scenery. The property was super clean and well equipped. It really felt like home.

Yoannis met us at the ferry to walk us the the apartment, about a 3 min walk. The apartment was very clean, had a little kitchen, nice bathroom, and a nice balcony with nice ocean views. The market is and beach are 10 seconds from the apartment, and Cafe as well(only open june-sept). Yoannis was very friendly and making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again in Sikinos and you should too!

Lucas Panorama is a lovely, little structure of studios run by a young, cool couple. I very much recommend this place because is very quiet, completely new, and very nicely laid out so that every studio has private access and a beautiful veranda with complete privacy and a fantastic view of the Alopronia beach. From my studio, I could see the sea just laying in my bed. The studio has a kitchenette with a fridge, air con, air dryer, and even an iron. It is super cleverly organized. The bathroom is absolutely lovely, made in Cycladic style with nice stone details. Wifi runs fast. In the structure, there are also some lovely common outdoor areas with tables and chairs, in the shadow and with the sea view so that one can chill out or work. The place is a 5-minute walk from the Alopronia beach and a 1-minute walk from the biggest supermarket on the island. Also, remember that the bus stops in front of the supermarket, if you ask the driver, so the location is super convenient to move around with the bus. Besides, even if it’s very close to Alopronia port, you will find the owner with a van on the ship's arrival. That was a lovely touch. I really loved the place!

Raoula collected us from the port. She is a lovely lady looking after things for Vicky. She let us use the apartment all day on the day we were leaving at 5 too! The views are amazing and the kitchen is incredibly well equipped with everything you might need including ice pack for my knee! There were all kind of toiletries, sewing things, books and more. We chatted with Raoula for ages on our last day and she is full of delightful information about the island and is very very helpful. I’m reluctant to praise too much as we want it free for our return as soon as possible!

"Galini" translates "tranquility/serenity" in Greek, and that's what "Galini" Rooms -and Sikinos, in general- offer in abundance. Staying in such a spacious, exceptionally clean, fully equipped room with mesmerising view over the port has been a joy in its own right. Staff kind and helpful. For the discerning visitor/traveler, Sikinos is a little gem of an island, away from the madding tourist crowds. Unspoilt beaches, exciting monuments scattered around the island, hiking trails and the "crown jewel" of Chora offer many rewarding options. All being well, I'll return to the island (and to "Galini" Rooms) as soon as possible.
