The setting was amazing , nestled near a stream and pasture and the building was beautiful!
Our room was so lovely and looked luxurious with a great bed and spacious bathroom. Great lighting for putting on makeup. Full-length mirror in rhe room.
We ate dinner in the restaurant which was lovely, my lamb meal was so good.
The staff were lovely and chatted to us and made us feel very welcome.
We would have stayed longer if we had time!

Lovely location so close to the centre of Biggar. Charming hosts who were so helpful. Very well appointed room that was spacious but cosy & provided a great nights sleep with a delicious breakfast at the time we requested. Welcoming & friendly local residents when we dined at the local pub / walked around Biggar itself.

An older property but well maintained, pretty much what you would expect from a motorway services hotel. Quite a few dogs staying during our visit however did not experience any noise. Checking in beforehand is useful after a long journey in that they have your registration for the parking and all details so collect key and go.
Absolutely nothing wrong with this property other than perhaps the limited choices for a meal at the services themselves as the location is quite isolated however enough choice that only a very picky eater would go hungry.
However... A WARNING! The roads around the services are in extremely poor condition with very deep potholes which would make your local council envious. I hit one in the dark and burst a tyre which was massively inconvenient and expensive, This is in no way a criticism of the Days Inn as I'm sure they have no control over the state of the roads on the entire service plaza. I cannot stress enough how bad this problem is, without exaggeration you would have to see them to believe how bad they are. Beware!

Beautiful location.
Wonderful spacious cottage
Ralph and Maura were friendly and helpful. We made use of the pool table and fus ball every evening and went for a few long walks around the farm. The kids loved their stay too.

Very peaceful location. Four of us were commuting into Biggar for the "Blazin' in Biggar" fiddle tuition weekend, which worked very well. The weather was cold for July but it was easy to put the heating on for an hour or so to take the chill off.
Everything was perfect and Elaine was super nice! We loved the spacious and lovely decorated house and the quietness of the place. When you're looking for a location to get away from everyday's hectic and loudness, this is the perfect spot. Surrounded by nature there is a lot to discover and with good weather and a clear sky you get to see a wonderful sunset.
The location was perfect and beautiful. Myself and friends were attending a wedding in cornhill castle and the cottage was only a 15 minute drive away. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The owners also provided a stock of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits for us.
Lovely location. It was well equipped with everything we needed including wash up liquid, washing machine and dishwasher tablets, T towels, tea bags, coffee. Great!! We were able to sit outside with small table and chairs and enjoy the garden. Everything was very clean and tidy.
