Our flight from Bristol Airport was around midday so we travelled from Cornwall and spent the night before here. We were welcomed warmly on arrival and later in the early evening we were given complimentary welcoming glass of wine. The room was comfortable with well thought out facilities. Parking was free and near the room (our room was just across the courtyard but there were other rooms in the main building). We reserved a table for dinner later that evening and the food was brilliant and the atmosphere friendly and busy. The staff cannot be faulted. We slept well and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. I realised that our boarding passes had not been printed properly at home and the staff rallied round and helped me to reprint them. Nothing was too much trouble. We shall return.

When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff and offered a complimentary drink of our choice. The room was beautiful and clean. We loved the toiletry products and the fact that there were sealed bottles of water in our room. We had recently stayed in a pub which was only slightly cheaper and the Swan Inn was far superior. The food was good quality and the service was excellent. The verandah and gardens are very pretty, set in picturesque countryside and a quiet location.

The location is great, it's very clean and dog friendly. The food was really good, including the range offered for breakfast.
The lady who worked in the evening and morning was super friendly and helpful.
Location was beautiful in the countryside only a 15 min walk or few minute drive from the thatchers tour which was perfect for us.
The nookery was very clean and had some lovely touches like elderflower cordial in the fridge plenty of things like oil and sauces if you wanted to cook.

Room was very clean and tidy with music playing on dab radio. Very warn day and the dyson fan was put to good use. Evening meal of high quality and breakfast was superb. Location was beautiful.
