This must be third or fourth time I've either stayed here with my son, or with my partner, and in neither case will it be my last. York's central hotels tend to be oh-so generic, but Clementine's - the merest of walks from the (relative) hustle and bustle of the city - is anything but. A beautiful chance find, unique rooms oozing with character, enchanting decor and wonderful staff. It's all positives.

We stayed at The Lawrance Luxury Aparthotel on Sunday 15th September 2024 as part of our wedding anniversary celebrations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was stunning, very clean and had everything you would need for your stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has underfloor heating, which was a great added bonus. The location of the apartment was great, as were the grounds. A short walk into the city centre and a convenience store and coffee shop only a minute away. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely stay again.
The property offers limited free off-street parking but also has free non restricted parking in the two adjacent streets and frequent bus services to the centre pass the property regularly.

Loved its central but quiet location and how obliging and responsive Rosie the owner was. Thought the apartment was smart and well equipped with some thoughtful extra touches - certainly no sense of skimping.

Clean and comfortable room; warm and cosy atmosphere. Jonathan the owner was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great weather during my stay so it was a lovely 15-20 minute walk to the city centre.

The location was fab, very cosy. Beds were clean and comfortable. The outdoor area is well kept. A fridge provided to store food/drink. Will definitely be back.
The pod was lovely and clean, and I loved that I could take my dogs. It was their first holiday :-) the site was nice and quiet, only a few pods and the other guests were pleasant. No loud music played until late or parties, the only staff member that I saw was the cleaning lady who was extremely polite and friendly. The showers and toilets were clean. The location was ideal due to being only 3miles from York town
Lovely location quiet and cosy, just a 10 minute taxi ride into town or an hours walk. Very clean, didn’t see the hosts while we was there but had everything we needed on email including a contact number if we need anything.
Was nice to get a way for a weekend away
