The owners gave us a very warm welcome and the property had a lovely ambience. We had everything that we needed for a lovely stay and a lovely touch were the complimentary chocolates and caramel wafer biscuits which we really enjoyed! David is a very kind host, who always made sure we have everything for our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable and well taken care of. If we stay near Edinburgh again, we will definitely come back here.

The lodge was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The rooms were very comfortable and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The location was lovely and tranquil but an easy commute to other locations also.
Ideal location for the train station and five sisters zoo, perfect for families. More than enough room within the property, very clean and well kept, homely touches and great parking. Prompt communication with the host, friendly welcome to the property and special touches such as a Christmas tree up on arrival (1st December)
