We have stayed before in the hotel's rooms but this time we were in the holiday home which worked really well for us. It was very well equipped and very comfortable with a log burner to light when the weather got really damp. The weather stopped us from using the garden chairs but we could see that it would be lovely to sit out on the terrace if the sun shone.
The location is lovely, particularly if you have a dog with you as there is a good walk into the woods from the doorstep. Hundreds of pheasants around at this time of year!

The Hotel is in a prime place for race meetings, it has the traditional look and is wecoming. Great value for money, and a choice off continental or traditional breakfast, was excellent. Staff were brilliant.
