What a fantastic place!? A beautiful location in the Staffordshire countryside. The property itself has been set up wonderfully, with an outside sitting area and beautiful surrounding gardens. It is only a 15 min drive to Alton Towers, which is why we went, but it was a lovely place to stay. The fan was a great extra touch because when we stayed, it was 30 degrees that day! A great breakfast in the morning too.

Everything was perfect. The location is excellent, it's 5 minutes walk to the town center. We stayed here to attend Uttoxeter races, this is within walking distance. The room is very nice, it has a big ensuite and everything you need (home from home). Also as an extra bonus to the room.. the bed is really really comfortable. Peter is a great host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodleighton Cottages. From the welcome pack which greeted us on our arrival to the checking in from Rachel over the duration of our stay to see if everything was okay or whether we needed anything or help with anything. It was truly a 1st Class service and most definitely a 5 star accommodation. The Cottages are a short distance to the race course or to the town centre. We will definitely be returning and will be recommending Woodleighton to our family and friends .

Extremely easy access via a lock box. The code was provided well in advance. Plenty of items and utensils in the kitchen. The washing machine and dishwashers were very handy. Antibacterial hand wash at each sink. Plenty of towels and a good supply of tea towels to see us through the week. Very friendly hosts!
