Comfortable one night stay for work, friendly staff and fantastic food, perfect for a stopover.
Nice touch of fresh milk and fridge in the room. Much more preferable to a national chain hotel.

This was an excellent accommodation for those walking in the Brecon Beacons. The bunkhouse slept 6 and me an my friend had the accommodation to ourselves. There were 2 bathrooms for the bunkhouse which was ideal for the 2 of us. The room was clean with comfortable beds. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided as well as milk in a fridge and cereal for the following morning. The bunkhouse is above the pub accessed by an exterenal staircase. The host wasd friendly and accessable showing us to the bunkhousde and providini details of how to access the room how to access the room. The pub was lively with a reasonable range of pub. The food was excellent with large portions that offerred great value for money. If walking in the Brecon Beacons again I would certainly revisit the Glantaff.

Views were great - not sure how good they would be in rainy weather though

The location is absolutely stunning...so many places to visit close by..
And the views are beautiful. The cottage was perfect for my family & the dogs . The cottage has numerous public transports options right on the doorstep.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
I know the place, been here before. It's just a pub with a few rooms above. No thrills. On weekends it can get loud but that ends at eleven. There is just no audio isolation in the old building. It's clean, the beds are comfy, and the location is ideal for me. You let yourself out in the morning (pub still closed) and in the evening you can get food (until eight except Sundays, then four) and drink before going to bed.
Friendly staff, cheap food nothing special but cooked well and good portion sizes, pint were tasty and the rooms were clean, fantastic location too stunning scenery
