There are 8-9 of us who visit this area every year and stay in various different types of accommodation and we saw the photos and description of Loft Fawr and thought it was too good to be true. You know how flattering photos online can be. But when we arrived, the accommodation was just beautiful. The decor had clearly had an immense amount of thought put into it from the fragrance that meets you as soon as you open the door. It was clean, comfortable and felt like a real luxury stay. There were complimentary items like hand wash, shower gel, bread, Welsh cakes and lots of spices in a fully equipped kitchen. We weren't inundated with do's and don'ts, just a few requests on how to leave the property in terms of recycling, putting the dishwasher on etc. We had to leave at 7am and it was very easy to pack our things and leave. There is also a well equipped Spar a few doors down which has great opening hours. We would absolutely love to stay again. My advice is to book while you can because this place will be in high demand.

Place was excellent. It was clean and the owners were very nice. Location is ideal for me as it is away from all the busyness of tourists etc but still close enough for the essentials and anything more the main town Aberystwyth is half hour away
The property is beautifully furnished and was spotlessly clean. It was well-stocked with essentials such as hand soap, dishwashing stuff, tea, coffee and a few herbs, spices, etc. The location is in the town centre, but views out of the back over rolling hills. Perfect location for access to some of mid-Wales stunning scenery.
Great location
Quirky and comfortable
Very clean
Comfortable bed
Great bath & shower
Good places to eat in walking distance
Lovely scenery

nice room in the centre of the village. plenty of car parking. The food was one of our key drivers for staying here and it was average so a bit of a let down. The breakfast was good and was a nice surprise after the dinner. The staff were friendly although one young man was managing all the dining so not ideal.
The rooms were spotless so no issue recommending staying, just don’t expect what you see one the dining photos.
On arrival Tom was there straight away, very friendly and so helpful. Our rooms were excellent, very clean and bed was so comfortable, spotless bathroom. Tea making facilities and Tom brought us a jug of fresh milk.
He gave us information where to go.
Loved our little stay.
A historic house in a beautiful location, the room was spotless, the linen puffy & we had views across the fields. The breakfast was Gormett, farm fresh & lovely.
I loved the house, the bedroom and bathroom were fine. The location is perfect . It's a beautiful setting and an ideal position for seeing the local area. Breakfast in the Riverside cafe was fantastic and included in the price. Staff were friendly and helpful .
