Location was perfect for us as we are moving into the area.
Hosts Rob and Jenna were exceptionally responsive and helpful, giving us access to the garden washing line for example and leaving a very thoughtful welcome hamper of goodies - ideal when you arrive tired
The beds were hugely comfortable and even with all the windows open during the night, the location was very quiet and peaceful
The kitchen was very well stocked and there wasn’t anything we missed during our stay that wasn’t already thought off.
The property is ideally located just over a mile from HMS Raleigh. The rooms are generously large, clean and beds are comfortable. The bathroom is also very large. The kitchen is fully fitted and functional.
The surrounding location is quaint and there are plenty of walks including the South Coast path not far.
The pub offers delicious generous meals.
Stayed for 2 nights on 15/16th February for my Grandson's passing out parade at HMS Raleigh. The location was perfect for this event. Could not fault our stay, the accommodation was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Had a family meal on Friday evening after the parade and the food and service was excellent. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again.
The tent was immaculate, the view was stunning, the shower rooms were clean and had shampoo and conditioner supplied. The location was ideal, just a short walk into Kingsand and a short drive to Whitsand Bay. We'll definitely be coming back.
