Lovely pub with rooms. Every member of staff was very friendly and welcoming, particularly Grace. By good fortune we had the king room which we highly recommend. Lots of room, comfortable bed and good en-suite. Food at dinner and breakfast was very good.

This review is a little late but well deserved. Amazing hosts and absolutely amazing place to stay. Third time here and it's always a pleasure staying at the Bijou cottage. The host is very responsive and super helpful. The cottage is absolutely a home to home and wonderful garden space to relax. Always a big thumbs up.

It has all the essential amenities needed for a home-stay. Very cozy. The heater worked just right to make it comfortable for us during our autumn stay.

The rooms was spacious, bright and comfortable. There was a fair-sized surface to work on, though it wasn't a proper desk. There is plenty of space for parking in an enclosed area (locked at night). There is a good variety of public spaces, including a couple of garden areas. Only a short walk from the town of Melton Mowbray

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
It is exactly as it says it is. Affordable, good location and comfortable. I asked for a very late check in and the staff were happy to help, a very simple system is in place for this and this was explained clearly and then texted to me as I was driving. No breakfast option but there is a cafe down the road and we were told this in advance. Can't fault the hotel and would stop again if I was passing through.
Lovely area, clean and presentable building.
Staff were very nice and helpful, room was very clean/spotless and the bar and breakfast was great, definitely recommend to others
Lovely location for a quiet getaway.
The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was tasty.
If there was more to do in the village we would come back again but as there is no bus service we had to walk to Rearsby (about 20mins)and get the bus to Melton.Overall a nice little break.
