Really friendly staff, the pub itself was lovely, great beer selection, and the food was brilliant.
Firstly the staff, super helpful with parking, helping checking into the room, booking for an evening meal, and breakfast (was included in the price, but they asked for times), and just generally very nice people.
As we got there late we decided to eat at the pub itself, save searching around and so pleased we did. I had a fabulous steak and ale pie, and my wife had something with chicken (sorry can't remember the dish name) that she said tasted lovely. Likewise with breakfast, all nicely presented etc etc.
The room was lovely, nice shower, clean and modern looking whilst the room though modern felt right for the location. Great view and comfortable bed, water was provided, plus of course tea, coffee, biscuits etc.

Everything! fantastic location and simply fantastic food. Staff genuinely nice and all looked happy Our dinner can only be described as sublime. Really really enjoyed it the plum and Japanese doughnuts desert new to the menu, amazing.
Our room was so pleasant and comfortable with the chocolate home made cookies the nicest of touches.
Breakfast delicious and I can only say Emma's home made lemon curd the best we've tasted along with strawberry and raspberry jams and not to forget the again home made peanut butter. You will need extra toast and try it all. A perfect night to end our Yorkshire tour before heading home

Gorgeous large room with comfortable bed. The view over Shibden Valley was stunning. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
This fine cottage dates from 1752 and mixes its original features with modern luxuries. The Worth Valley Steam Railway is 2 minutes away and Brontë Parsonage Museum is 5 minutes away.

We were made very welcome by Caroline and Adrian. Caroline had made a sponge cake to have with the cup of tea she made for us on arrival. Our charming twin room had it's own door to the outside with a little patio. The duvet was particularly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious - I was served my requested crispy bacon! We were free to use the conservatory and garden and read books etc provided. We travelled by public transport so the Brontë bus stop was perfect, one minute walk from our room. To reach the Brontë Parsonage, instead of walking on the main road, our hosts suggested walking through the pleasant park which led to the steep Main Street with the Parsonage at the top. There was a Sunday craft market on in the park and another in the village hall. Again, very conveniently, a few minutes walk away was Haworth railway station for the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway - a well-run heritage line which took us on the trip to Keighley and back with museums at the Ingrow West stop.
