loved it all. Speechless, what a lovely place. One of the nicest stop over places I've ever stayed. Perfect in every way. The house has a cosy and homey vibe, and was very clean. Our room was large and spacious, as well as the bathroom. Covid measures are taken, and there is hand sanitiser in common areas and in the room. There was also disinfectant wipes in the room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we felt at home. Breakfast was good and filling. It is close to the motorway so was perfect for us as a stopover, but would have loved to stay longer.

The host gave us a warm welcome and lots of ideas of things to do in the area. It was also a warm welcome inside the cozy chalet. Bruce provided us with ice each day and was very accommodating with departure time. The chalet was comfortable for four in the kitchen and living room area. The two bedrooms are on the small side but every effort has been made to make the best use of the space.

Amazing place! Right in the middle of Stirling. Wrote to Richard a few weeks before arrival to see if we could check-in a little before normal and that was no problem. Richard even suggested that we visited Cambuskenneth Abbey because we are from Denmark and a Danish queen is buried there, so we did. The Breakfast was really good and cooked on order when we came down to the dining room. The rooms are nice and very clean and room 2 has a spectacular view to the National Wallace Monument. Don´t miss this place and we will certainly stay here again should we ever visit Stirling again.
