Used as an overnight stop on the way to a Royal Navy veterans reunion, for a guy on his own it was absolutely ideal. Bedroom was basic, clean and served it's purpose. Breakfast was superb. Bar was very friendly, well priced and food was excellent.

The breakfast was very good and there was plenty choice of cereals, pastries and fruit. There was also a cooked choice of bacon and eggs. The beds were very comfy and the room light and airy. The friendly host was very welcoming and helpful with places to try for evening meals.

Ease of getting into the property, friendly host, flexible arrival time, great room with tea and coffee, very clean and a comfy bed. I bought a sandwich with me for work the next day, so a mini fridge in the room would have been useful.
The property was excellent presented, very spacious and thoughtful finishing touches. Quiet location for peaceful sleep.
