Stayed at the Spirit Vaults after arriving at EMA. On street parking which wasn’t a problem, managed to park outside the hotel. Opted to eat at the hotel, and went for the steak pie which was delicious. 5 stars for the beers, as you would expect it being a micro brewery. Room was quite small (cosy), but comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with good local produce.

The home is beautiful and exactly as pictured. Very clean and really thoughtful finishing touches. The beds are very comfortable and the host is extremely helpful. I would 100% recommend and would stay again

Great location between the River Trent and the Trent & Mersey Canal for a canal-side walk and visit a few local pubs and restaurants.
Lovely welcome by hosts, our room was spacious, very clean and had a marvelous view of the Trent flowing by.
Breakfast was great, we would recommend the Holden House and will be returning there in the very near future

The reception I received from the lady on arrival, was very pleasant, friendly & polite.
The room was very clean, warm & the shower had a good pressure.

The cottage was very cosy and comfortable it had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and well organised. The owners were very helpful and were at the end of the phone if needed. The location is very good, two minutes from the canal, several very good pubs most serving food and a Chinese and Indian restaurant within walking distance, Shardlow is on a good bus root and its easy to visit surrounding areas.
Location was nice, room was very clean bright and cheerful, bed was comfortable, shower was excellent, lots of coffee & T + milk, lots of extra little niceties that shows that extra care taken by owners.
