Exceptional accommodation with incredibly helpful management who will do anything to make your stay comfortable. We arrived on bikes and they vet helpfully locked these safely away for us overnight.,The pool was an additional bonus at the end of a very long bike ride - very special!! Room for was huge, shower exceptional and chips ordered last minute outstanding! No hesitation to recommend this fabulous hotel.

Such a lovely place to stay. Nice location and my children had a wonderful time playing in the outside space.

Room was a little cold, could do with some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels/cloths. A lack of plug sockets. Had to plug kettle in behind bedside cabinets. The price with breakfast is very good but we had 2 medium well behaved dogs and thought £30 for one night was steep.
From the friendly welcome, very pleasant room, great beer, buzzy bar, good quality meal served in a cosy restaurant area to the comfortable bed, small but spotless bathroom with a powerful shower, all set in a lovely small village location with some lovely scenic walks on the doorstep.
Oh, breakfast was excellent too!
This was an ideal location for exploring lovely Rutland. Our room was well equipped with a adequate shower room. Our breakfasts were good and, whilst this is a working pub, we were not disturbed in spite of a sizable gathering on the Sunday afternoon.
Lovely location. Very friendly staff. Excellent quality food, locally sourced. Very clean and comfortable. Soundproofing very good in bedroom - no noise from bar below.. Exceptional.
