    Just could not wish for a better place, spotless clean, lovely and warm, fantastic views and location right on the loch. Tracey and Peter could not of been more helpful, especially with two old people and a modern oven/cooker. Can not possibly rate this place any higher.

    Staff very friendly and approachable. Location only a minute drive from the Pentland Ferry service over from Caithness so convenient for a quick arrival and departure (and only 15 miles from Kirkwall so not too far to visit). If you like seafood the restaurant is ideal and it's not a pretentious place with very much a family-run feel to it. I'd definitely consider staying again if coming back to the Orkney Isles.

    We loved absolutely everything about the property. It was immaculately clean. The beds and bedding were so comfortable and top quality. The location was perfect and the views were absolutely incredible - ideally situated for visiting all of the islands points of interest. The kitchen was so well equipped it was like home from home. The owners had literally thought of everything. Catriona and Simon are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us when our ferry was cancelled. So hospitable. We will be back next year for sure ! 5 stars all round x

    We really enjoyed our last-minute stay at this peedie house. It had everything we needed and more and the location was absolutely perfect. Stunning views and ideal for catching the early boat in the morning. Thank you so much!

    The cottage was spotlessly clean, and a perfect size for a solo traveller or a couple. the location is exceptional, with stunning views across the bay with daily visits from a handful of young seals just meters from the front door. Easy access to the mainland of Orkney with everything vitamin an hours drive.

    The staff were great, the location is ideal for the St Margrest Pentland Ferry. Suzanne and the stay we great hosts, they make the place. I've stayed in a few locations no in Orkney and I can honestly say this has been the best. Thank you.

    Option for a packed breakfast- my vegetarian option was great. Location perfect to catch early ferry. We slept well which was the most important thing. The room was dated but comfortable and very clean.
