The food was amazing and very tasty, and girls waiting in the restaurant were two of the best waitresses I've ever experienced, and I travel a lot.

We stayed at the “ Red Lion” for 1 night as we were due to fly out of Exeter airport the next day. We stayed in the apartment, when we arrived we were given a warm welcome and made to feel at home straight away. The apartment was comfortable and cosy with everything you would need. The pub itself had a lovely atmosphere and made us feel more than welcome with lovely food but what stood out was the staff, you were made to feel like part of the family. A perfect start to our holiday.

Situation in a rural setting very quiet and peaceful. The full length glass sitting room doors give a delightful view of the ducks waddling across the lawns

A comfortable hotel in a convenient location. The room was small but very clean and would have benefitted with some clothes hanging provision, the service comfortably attentive without being overebearing, the breakfast cooked to order with a full choice of options. Would certainly stay again.
The location was ideal as we were attending a wedding at Rockbeare Manor. The staff were very friendly and helpful, in particular, letting us check in early so that we could get ready. The breakfast was great too. Outside space for drinks really lovely.
