Arrived late, but still had a parking spot. Friendly, cheerful greeting, somewhere to sit down while completing the formalities, and an offer to carry my bag up to the room. All a relief in my tired and slightly frazzled state.
Room was lovely. Not big, obviously, or it would be a double, but had a sink, fridge, hanging space, a couple of chairs and a desk, all without seeming overly crowded. Sockets near the bed as well.
Two toilets available, and a night light in the hallway. Bathroom was spacious and shower looked good, though I didn't try it myself.
And I got my bag carried down again. Would definitely return
2 months later: I did return, and it was even better. They had recognised my name on the booking, and amazingly remembered a couple of passing comments I made about my preferences, so did what they could to fulfill them. I was beyond impressed!

The breakfast choice was very good. Something for everyone. Attentive fast service.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The location was lovely and quiet with a good pub less than 5 minutes walk away. The facililities in the property were perfect, good shower in the en-suite and separate bath with shower over downstairs. There was plenty of space for four adults and the kitchen would have worked well for us if we were cooking. The small outdoor space was private and caught the sun and was lovely to sit in and eat breakfast.
The homemade marmalade in the food parcel was delicious
The location was perfect for our trip along the Jurassic coastal walk. The beds were very comfortable and good tea and coffee facilities were provided. The room was a good size and lovely and warm. This place had good parking facilities
The room was more than adequate, very clean. Facilities such as tea/coffee/biscuits/bottled water great. Short walk to Farm Shop, The Duck for breakfast no problem. Content of choice and quality of breakfast outstanding.
The location is excellent for visiting south west Dorset. The room was clean and comfortable but dark and very messy directly outside.
The evening meal was vey good. The breakfast next door at the farm shop was exceptional.
