Superb facilities, fabulous location and great views. Very good support from owners when we had a problem with the heating, who dealt with and rectified the issue immediately.
The location is excellent! Relaxed area, very good options for food/drink within a 5 minute walk (especially the Lochindaal Seafood Restaurant), and a 40 minute walk to Bruichladdich distillery. Breakfast was brilliant, you will be asked if you want anything special buying in for you! The room was very clean and spacious, all the Lochindaal team (& the locals!) are very helpful and friendly. Although we were staying behind the pub, we had no issues with noise.
Very friendly and nice staff, good location by the sea, very close to restaurants and a bus stop, the room was spacious and clean, there are more than enough toilets and bathrooms, everything was very clean and well maintained, the kitchen is very well equipped, the breakfast was good, overall a very pleasant experience. Would recommend.
I was travelling for work but decided to make the weekend of it while I was there. The hostel is in a fantastic location and is super comfortable. The staff are very friendly and assisted with everything that I needed. Everything is spotlessly clean. My stay here would encourage me to use hostels more often, totally relaxed, friendly vibe about it and the village at Port Charlotte is pretty with lovely views out to sea.
This apartment was ideal, easy to find and spotless. The location was great, only minutes from the water and countryside too. Our host was extremely helpful, particularly so during the past year of COVID. Excellent all round.
