The owner was really friendly and offered us a lift to the station even. The paly was spotless. we didn't use the hot tub in the end but it was open to lovely views. We even had tea/coffee/milk and breakfast items left for us

Gorgeous views from the lovely little cottage space. It had everything you need for a short stay and is beautifully presented. It was great to be welcomed by our host who even provides bread, milk etc. I will use this again when visiting my daughter.

This is by far the best self catering property we have stayed in whilst visiting Wales. It ticks all the boxes for us. Quiet, spacious, dog friendly, lawns, secure parking near the door, all on one level, very clean and comfortable. David was a brilliant host with quick communication and he puts himself in the shoes of the guests when he equips the house. Wi-Fi was good. Risca has over 20 places to eat/collect. Our favourite was the Cefn Mably Inn in Michaelston y Fedw, about 20 mins drive away. Dog friendly and no children under 10. Views across the valley are pretty especially at sunset. Visit Cwmcarn Scenic Drive just north of Risca. Thank you David, we will be back, 100% sure.

Lovely location and views. A cosy and safe property. Clean beds with well proportioned rooms. We loved seeing the ducks in the morning, the farm doggies saying hello and watching the cows in the distance! It was the perfect size for our family to use as a base. Would definitely stay again and let other people know about it. Refreshing to have no WiFi, as allowed us to switch off.
Quiet, convenient location for shopping and site seeing. Had every amenity needed. Comfortable clean tidy and enough room for 4 adults. Scenery was magnificent. It was perfect not having any internet! Host was friendly and very welcoming.
Loved the location , beautiful views . Cottage was extremely comfortable and warm . We loved the runner ducks and chickens . It was near our family so ideal for us . Owners are very friendly and helpful .
