This lodge is rather quirky. The room I was given (an upgrade to the honeymoon suite) was enormous, with a little fridge, helpful desk, great wifi and even a welcome decanter of sherry. The location is remote but very very peaceful. Plenty of parking

Patricia was very welcoming and couldn’t do more to accommodate us. Everything was very clean, the bed was so comfortable and the cooked breakfast every morning was fantastic. The fresh poached eggs were the best we’ve ever had! The location is ideal it’s not too far from anywhere and the views from the bedroom window were amazing. It was very cosy, staying here felt like a real home from home. Would definitely come back and stay here next time coming to Orkney. 10/10
