We stayed in Moffat to have a rest day while walking the Southern Upland Way. John was a kind, considerate and welcoming host. He could not have been more helpful. We loved our accommodation - very comfortable and spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and it was a pleasure to talk to John. The location was great and the house is a gem, full of character.

A quaint and beautifully decorated cottage with such thoughtful finishing touches and colour schemes. We had a very comfy stay on a rainy night, the place warmed up very quickly with heaters. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and we enjoyed the fresh eggs. We loved the privacy most, having purchased ingredients to make dinner in the local Co op just up the road, we made dinner and breakfast and liked being somewhere so peaceful. We would definitely stay again, using it as a good stop off point between Blackpool and Sutherland. Would love to know what colour blue the kitchen was painted, inspiration for home? Thank you Neil and Kathryn for being perfect hosts and we will be back in the future.
