The breakfast was outstanding - nothing was too much trouble. First time ever I've been offered a "loaded" omelette - absolutely delicious. Beautiful views to the coastline, and a comfortable lounge to use in the evening. Rolf our host was also extremely friendly and helpful.

Detta is a wonder! She ( and tradespeople) lovingly restored a Mansion built in the Highlands in 1854. Ultra clean and well kept, extremely spacious room, modern bathroom and bed. Small but very well equipped kitchen, a must as its a good drive to food in Thurso. Bring a nice bottle of wine and something microwavable /bakeable, or cook from scratch as we did. Gorgeously kept, extensive gardens! Fabulous locations for short or extensive walking in our 3 days here.

perfectly located for scenery, wildlife, peace, quiet and access to the North Coast of Scotland attractions. The cottage itself was perfect, like a home from home. Everything you needed was provided, it was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Hosts are lovely and we chatted to them several times when out and about as they run the farm nearby. They were very keen that we had everything we needed for a super holiday.
