The Shepherds Hut was set in a tranquil location with great views all around.! It was so peaceful, chilling in the hot tub at night and just what we needed.! Jacqui and Dave were fantastic and couldn’t do any more for our stay.!! 5star treatment, we will be back.! xx

Beautiful cottage, very clean and cozy, decorated to a high standard. Location was perfect for us and the views were amazing. Just like a standard house. All the equipment necessary, no surprise. Owner living just by the rental. Warm welcome. Everything explained in person and through a booklet. Lots of space (inside and outside, parking as well), nearby mini grocery store - tesco. Standard fridge (not the little ones). Super clean. Modern. Looks like it was built within the year. In our top 5 of house rentals we’ve had (over 25).

The accommodation is actually a large annexe to the main house, with its own private entrance into the sitting/dining area, with fabulous views out over the Scottish landscape, with sheep and cows grazing. Very quiet and peaceful and an ideal spot for a decent night’s sleep. The bedroom was huge and one of the comfiest beds ever! Everything was perfect, a home from home with everything you could possible need. Continental breakfast was provided with so much choice and was ready waiting for us when we checked in. We were en route to take the ferry from Cairnryan back to Ireland and it was around an hour and a half’s drive from the port, yet only a few minutes from the main A75. We were able to sit out in the garden and enjoy the sunshine when we arrived which was a bonus. We will definitely stay here again.
