Slades farm Glamping, hotel in Market Lavington

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, Slades farm Glamping is located in Westbury in the Wiltshire Region, 21 km from Bath. Bristol is 39 km from the property.

The keys were located in an easy to find key safe and the host sent very clear instructions in good time. It is a really beautiful location - and the shepherds hut is very cleverly designed to make the most of the space. The hut was spotlessly clean, and extremely well equipped. The host was flexible and responsive and very patient when my card did not go through first time, which I really appreciated. There is lots of beautifully cared for outdoor space around the hut, so that we felt that we had our own little haven within the site.

Lovely little place up a very quiet county road. We loved the cosiness of the main sitting/dining/cooking area. Only a 20-40 minute drive to most local attractions which was ideal but local village was quite a walk away.

The breakfast was delicious with sausage, bacon, and black pudding being sourced from a proper butcher next door to the pub. Beautiful golden scrambled egg too. The beds were spotlessly clean and superbly comfortable. We stayed there two years ago in what were new rooms. In the intervening period they had suffered one or two little knocks, but the bathroom was large and also spotlessly clean.

Breakfast outstandingly tasty, room very clean and well- equipped, dinner excellent and plenty of choice, Staff friendly and helpful, also honest and intelligent - I left my bandbag in the restaurant and they tracked me down to return it. We would very definitely book there again if heading towards that area.

Breakfast was excellent, just as we ordered, served swiftly on hot plates, tasty and plentiful. Porridge deserves particular mention, creamy and delicious. The central village location was ideal for our needs (visiting family nearby). Pleasant area at the rear of the property with outdoor seating - no view, but then we didn’t expect one!
