The location of the pods is excellent; five minutes walk from the station and with views across to the small isles and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The lockbox allowed us to check in independently and dash to the boatyard for the 3:30 wildlife cruise with plenty of time to spare. The pod itself was spotless and equipped with everything we needed for our few nights in Mallaig. Our hosts were excellent and responded to our queries very quickly! The location was amazing, over looking the loch. The host had supplied fresh eggs from her hens, local cheese, oatcakes aswell as some local beer. Lots of information supplied in a book in the lodge along with maps. Fully stocked with everything you could need. The lodge was very clean. The sheep's, hens and other animals all come up to the lodge which we thoroughly enjoyed. A break away from internet and distractions was a dream.
