We had a very nice room overlooking the sea. Comfortable and with a new bathroom.
The food in the restaurant is also excellent and the salmon for breakfast is delicious.

Lovely holiday cottage in a very nice out-of-the way location. You won't be overrun with tourists. This is a great base from which to do local sightseeing, exploring, plan hikes, explore Ardnamurchan, etcetera.

One needs to have realistic expectations. If you are willing to have a bunk bed and have access to bathroom and showers with other travellers, this is for you. It was a lot of fun and brought me back to my residence days at university ! Would I stay more than one night ? Probably not but for one night, it was a lot of fun ! The owner was very hospitable and fun and had great suggestions for restaurants and pubs. You cannot beat the price, a very important consideration, since we were travelling to Skye the next day and prices of hotels on Skye are exhorbitant. The property included a nice lounge and kitchen the occupants can use. It was very well located, next door to the ferry

The evening meal which wasn't part of our booking was good

The location was nice in between the mountains and was really pleasant. The rooms were neat and in a good condition. We were late for the check-in, the hotel staff has really made it easy for us to access the rooms. The food was good with limited selection.
Overall it was a nice stay at the hotel.
Lovely, friendly service
Spotlessly clean
Delicious food
Would highly recommend Lochailort Inn, short distance from the port of Mallaig and Fort William
Location was beautiful - beside a little stream, with trees all around.
Access is by a very narrow track with a right-angled bend. We were so glad we had a small car because a big one would not have made it down the track.
Good location for me, travelling between Mallaig and Fort William. Was welcomed by the owner. Great room with good view and spacious. Very clean and comfortable. Freesat TV meant reception was good. Breakfast was good. There wasn't dedicated bicycle parking but there was a secure fire-escape that you could lock one or two bikes to and was partially under cover. I was able to leave some bags after checkout and pick them up later to save me carrying them all day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Inn, ideal location to explore the surrounding areas . The staff were friendly, chatting and made us so welcome. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We ate dinner a night and it was delicious. Would highly recommend and would return
