Omg what a lovely apartment. Honestly I could live in it. The owners are very thoughtful. Milk coffee biscuits. Which you don't usually get in self-catering. It was spotless and so tastefully decorated and furnished. We were there over the bank holiday weekend. So there was at lot of live music playing at the pubs . But with the windows closed it wasn't that loud. No problem. There were fans and TVs in every room. For the price this is an exceptional place to stay.

Great and clear communication with owner leading up to stay. Property was excellent, a real home from home. Nice and appreciated touch to provide milk, coffee, tea, bread, butter (Marg), jams and cereal for breakfast. Lovely a quiet estate but walkable to amenities. Would recommend and would stay again when I'm next working in the area.

We were visiting Llanerch Vinyard for a tour so this property was perfectly located for a short walk there and back (although the host kindly offered us a lift, which would have been perfect if it was raining!).
Apartment was lovely - light and airy, great facilities with a coffee pod machine that was unusually well-supplied with pods - thank you.
Bathroom was huge with a massive shower. Maybe a hook or two to hang towels and somewhere to put wash bags in all that space?
Host met us on arrival and communication was excellent. Set in the "middle of nowhere" (aka beautiful Welsh countryside) everything was very peaceful and would have made for a lovely and relaxing weekend had we had more time to explore the area.

Location is fantastic, right in the heart of the island.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
We stayed in the Tackleshed, the property exceeded our expectations and the hosts were brilliant.
The location is perfect, quiet and a short drive to Barry Island seafront.
We hope to return in the future.
It had everything and was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great communications and location for us and we liked that we could park our car so close and it wasn’t roadside.
The property was in a lovely convenient location for me & was just as described. The place was uncluttered & the decor/furnishings were very much to my style. The next door host was very pleasant. Loved the chickens on-site.
The location was stunning, a perfect getaway from busy life. The open plan living spaces were ideal for spending time with friends or family all together, which worked great for the purpose of our weekend. Everything looked picture-perfect and we loved the garden space too.
Accommodation and layout of the property were first class.
