Mays Cottage Bed and Breakfast, hotel in Liss

Situated in Petersfield and only 20 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, Mays Cottage Bed and Breakfast features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. En-suite shower room is nicely decorated with a decent shower. Bed was comfy. Friendly host and excellent continental breakfast many of the big brands couldn’t compare with. She even found me a charging cable to borrow! Location was convenient- just off a main road and near 2 pubs.

The Half Moon, hotel in Liss

Set in Petersfield, 19 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, The Half Moon offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

Located on the outskirts of Petersfield, for us the location was ideal. We ate in the bar area for both evening meal & breakfast as there was more atmosphere for a mid week. The dining room is large but we were the only ones eating that evening. Both our evening meal and the breakfast were excellent, and the plates were hot which is always nice. The room was excellent but there is no lift and the stairs are quite steep so make sure any baf you take up to your room is light and contains only what you need for the night. The room was comfortable & quiet and the bathroom was excellent. All the linen seemed almost new both in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Car parking was very good

Easy check in, the room was spacious and very clean. We stayed here the night before a wedding, the shower was decent and the location was 5 minutes from the venue. Breakfast was good.

The location was perfect - just off the main road but still very quiet at night. The room was small, but very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need for 1 night. It was spotlessly clean.

The location was excellent for my purposes and the road although busy during the day, quietened down at night. I called in to collect my keys and freshen up after a long drive on top of my day at work, I took a bath in the spotless bathroom and as I needed to work until 04:00 came in quietly so as not to disturb others.

Breakfast was first class, and the location was ideal. The welcome was informative and the room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Didn't eat but did have a few pints of Doom Bar which was in excellent condition and very well kept.

We had a great night's sleep at the Jolly Drover. The location was ideal for us, and it was easy to find. There is plenty of parking available. The rooms are in an annex just away from the pub, which meant that they were quiet. The shower was amazing - big, powerful and hot. The bed was comfy and there were nice little touches in the room to make the stay pleasant. Breakfast was served with a smile, and was cooked well.

It was very clean, spacious & quiet. The location is perfect for us as it’s close to family when we came down from Bristol to attend a funeral. The staff were very friendly & looked after us perfectly. Would love to come back again!
