Situated just 10 miles north of Gretna and well located in a scenic area of south-west Scotland, Kirkconnel Hall is a magnificent 15th century manor set in extensive gardens and grounds.

Quirky old place, lots of interesting bits and pieces around the building. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Good continental breakfast with lots of choice.
The Old Rectory is a 19th century bed and breakfast building set in the heart of Annan. It is built with the distinctive red sandstone, local to the area. There is free parking near by and free Wi-Fi....
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Beautiful House, very clean, comfortable and plenty of room, the furnishings very nice and a fabulous kitchen, where you could sit eating looking out over the garden. The surrounding area very quiet, making this a very peaceful location.
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Lovely hostess who is welcoming and helpful. Excellent location just off motorway, close to English/Scottish border. Ideal when travelling north or south.
I was cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats and required accommodation just north of the border. The Village Inn was an ideal location for me and an excellent low cost accommodation, currently having some refurbishment. The owner was very friendly and cooked me an evening meal and an excellent Scottish breakfast to set me up for the long ride towards Glasgow. My bedroom was spacious and included a sitting area and a fridge. One of the most comfortable beds on my 18 day tour and the cheapest overnight stay of the whole tour.
Such a wonderful gem, Alison is an amazing host who makes you feel like you are at home. Her home cooked meals are brilliant, good value, great portions and tasty. Her breakfast is great. It's spotless, our room was a great size and very clean with all you need even toiletries. And well the shower was absolutely amazing. It's dog friendly, so no problems taking your furry family with you. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Rusty & Ed
location was perfect only a few minutes off the motorway but nice and peaceful which was ideal after a long journey. Alison is fantastic she couldn’t do enough for us, even making our little man a small breakfast in the morning and tea at night.
