A lovely little gem, comfortable and well equipped. Mike, as a host, is wonderful, he called me to make sure I could find the accommodation as it can be a little hard to spot in the dark then once I arrived he carried my bags from the car for me and showed me around the place.

Make yourself at home at Mollie’s Oxfordshire, named as the ‘Best Budget Hotel’ by the Sunday Times Best Places to Stay: 79 rooms designed by Soho House, a pop of colour, a dash of Conran, friendly lobby work spaces (help yourself to coffee – our own blend), cocktails, mocktails, masses of free parking, EV charging and a handy distance from the city. The Gloucestershire countryside is right on the doorstep.

The location is great if you're planning a roadtrip in the Oxfordshire/Cotswolds. The structure is located just ca 30 km from Oxford and it's really easy to get there. The staff was amazing and the room was clean, very comfortable, with cutting-edge accessories (GHD hair straighteners and Dyson hair dryer, recharchable, eco-friendly soaps). Since we stayed there two separate nights, they kindly reserved us the same room. On each floor you can find hot and cold water dispenser. In front of the motel you can find a diner, which also serves breakfast from 8 a.m. and there is also a petrol station, with a little food market.

We enjoyed our stay, every aspect was better than expected, my only problem with the room was the size of the wash bason, I am over 6ft tall with very large hands and I found it a little difficult using my flannel !! Breakfast was perfect, there seemed to many options depending on your choice. Location was perfect as we use to live only one mile away to visit friends.

For me, with gluten intolerance, the breakfast wasn't ideal but it was adequate. I loved the feel of the place, it was calm, historically interesting and comfortable. As one of the oldest inhabited buildings in Britain it has enough modern facilities to make my stay comfortable and connected to the outside world as I am now accustomed to.

Location was ideal for us visiting friends in a neighbouring village. The Manor grounds are absolutely lovely we had a nice walk around. We had two rooms for the 5 of us, a twin and a family which was very big. I liked having the extras in each room like a hairdryer without asking and a set of drawers to unpack into. Staff were very friendly and informative and breakfast was great, lots of choice! From reading the room descriptions I hadn't expected a TV in the bedrooms but there was. These were small but a good addition to have!
